Troop 505 will head to THE CLIMBING PLACE in Fayetteville, NC for an evening of climbing fun. Scouts can climb as late as they wish and then will sleep at the CLIMBING PLACE until the next morning before returning home. Many Troop 505 scouts participated in this event the past few years and will tell you they had a blast. Scouts will need to fill out THE CLIMBING PLACE waiver before they leave for the trip. Scouts will have a pizza party Saturday evening for dinner and scouts will have breakfast on the way home Sunday morning.
Scouts will sleep inside the climbing place and will need a sleeping bag and perhaps a ground pad. Scouts should consider their attire for this trip. Baggy clothing is not conducive to climbing and will present a safety hazard. Scouts will need to remember their toothbrush and any other items they think they will need.
